The early 20th century old house has been transformed into a contemporary family home that integrates traces of its past. The homeowners’ specification demanded a contemporary characterful home that reflects their personality and way of living.

Restructured in its new form, this home near Paris is built around four-story staircases. Music and DIY enthusiasts have a sewing workshop and a music studio in the basement.

The living spaces are on the ground floor, including the kitchen with an open plan. Through its glass doors, the living room enjoys the small garden at the back of the house, a peaceful haven appreciated in the shade of the cherry tree.

The upstairs houses the bedrooms and bathrooms. A vast guest bedroom area has been created on the rooftop. The sauna is the highlight of this house, with a terrace affording an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower.

Each element of the house was carefully selected, bringing personal vibrations and nuances to the owners’ bespoke living project.
